This weekend in Durban

Welcome to the first of what will be a regular Friday posting of events in the city to look forward to on the weekend. If you know of any that I’ve missed or that I need to mention in upcoming posts, please let me know!

  • We have the big Surf Carnival on New Pier, Durbs on Saturday and Sunday, all day. The weather is set to be beautiful, if a bit windy.
  • The Springboks will be giving the Italians a butt-kicking at Kings Park on Saturday. Who’s up for pasta on the braai? (I’ve been told it can be done..)
  • And then there’s the markets: Shongweni Farmers Market from 6:30am on Saturday and the Meeting Tree Craft Market, also in Shongweni, from 11am, on Sunday.
