2015’s Durban Restaurants Roundup

40 restaurants

Over 40 (forty!) restaurants popped up and opened in the course of the last 12 months in Durban alone, with two thirds of them being in the North Durban area. The ongoing corporate development and tourism hub around the greater Umhlanga area seems to have attracted a lot of potential for hungry patrons. How many of these restaurants have you noshed at?

Blog Comments

Would be great if this list was formatted into something useful, like type of restaurants, areas, food, etc.

Hi Scott, thanks for your comment. The list is divided up into areas (North Durban, Durban and Greater Durban Area, Upper Highway), arranged alphabetically in each area and has a short descriptor to explain each restaurant. Hope that helps understand it better.

Hi

You missed Charley”s Cafe which opened where Chuck and Bob’s was, opposite Mitchell Park.

Michael
