In September I ran a competition for a book giveaway for Chef Jackie Cameron’s new cookbook. I asked people to submit their favourite home cooked meal instead of just putting in a random comment for entrance. I really loved the responses. Judging from Chef Jackie’s replies scattered throughout the comments she seemed to enjoy them too. We had Chicken a la King and Mac & Cheese coming in as firm favourites, followed by roasts next and a smattering of things like stews, soups, ragùs, risottos and a steak. Real comfort food.
